Use a professional Instagram account

Instagram API publishing requires an eligible professional account: Creator or Business. A personal account is not the right destination for this publishing flow.

Two ways to connect

Inktaro offers two official Meta sign-ins for Instagram:

• Instagram login (default): you sign in with your Instagram professional account. No Facebook Page is needed.
• Facebook login (option): for an Instagram professional account linked to a Facebook Page you manage. It's the only option that lets Inktaro add Instagram's Paid partnership label.

If you connect with Instagram login, the paid partnership option is shown greyed out for that account, with an explanation. Inktaro never drops a setting silently.

Either way, Inktaro never asks for your password, and you can revoke access at any time from the settings of the account you used to connect.

Current status

Inktaro's Instagram integration is being built. Once it's ready, it goes through Meta's business verification and app review. Instagram Reels shows as Approval pending until then.

Before scheduling a Reel

• Confirm that the selected Instagram account is the correct professional account.
• Check the video compatibility result in Inktaro.
• Adjust the Instagram caption if it should differ from your base caption.
• Add the appropriate own-business or AI disclosure when applicable. For a paid partnership, connect the account with Facebook login.
