Your personal data is processed by Maxime Folio, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel, EI, micro-entrepreneur), under the trade name Makessyme, 49 avenue Emmanuel Maignan, 31200, Toulouse, France, SIRET 910 412 428 00047. For any question about your data, write to contact@inktaro.com.
When you join the waitlist, we collect your first name, last name, email address and the platforms you publish on. We use them to let you know when Inktaro is ready and to contact you about early access. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the form. If you don't create an account, we delete this data 12 months after your sign-up at the latest.
To run your account, we process your name and email address, your sign-in method (email or Google), your organization and workspaces, the history of your consents (terms and marketing emails), your plan and, for paid plans, billing information handled by Stripe. Legal basis: the performance of our contract with you. When you sign up, you can also tell us which platforms you publish on and which ones you would like Inktaro to support. This answer is optional and we only use it to decide what to build next. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving Inktaro.
We store the videos you upload, their technical details (format, duration, resolution), your captions, titles, settings and schedules, so that we can check them against each platform's requirements and publish them where you ask. Videos are stored in the European Union. On the Free plan, video files are deleted once publishing is finished (at the latest 7 days after the post's last activity, or 48 hours for a draft that was never published). On paid plans, videos you keep in your library stay until you delete them or close your account.
When you connect an account, you log in through the platform's official page. We never see or store your passwords. The platform gives us your account identifier, your username or channel or Page name, your profile picture, an access token (stored encrypted on our servers) and, for published videos, their identifier, status and statistics (such as views or likes). We use this data only to publish the content you choose, on the accounts you choose, to show you the status of each publication and to display your statistics, platform by platform. We never combine statistics from different platforms into a single figure. We do not use this data for advertising and we never sell it.
Inktaro uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to your YouTube channel and to show you their status and statistics. By connecting a YouTube account, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. In addition to disconnecting your account in Inktaro, you can revoke Inktaro's access at any time from your Google security settings. When you disconnect YouTube in Inktaro, we revoke our access and delete the data obtained from YouTube within 7 days. If you revoke access from Google, we delete it within 30 days.
Account data: as long as your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closure. Accounts whose sign-up was never completed (terms not accepted): deleted 30 days after sign-up. Access tokens: until you disconnect the account or they can no longer be refreshed. Data obtained from YouTube: deleted within 7 days of a disconnection or of your request, and within 30 days of a revocation made from Google; stored statistics are re-checked at least every 30 days. Invoices: 10 years, as required by French accounting law. Messages to us: 3 years after our last exchange.
You can disconnect any platform, delete videos and posts, or close your account at any time. You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to contact@inktaro.com: we do it within 7 days and confirm by email. Deleting data in Inktaro does not delete what is already published on the platforms. Step-by-step instructions are on our data deletion page.
If you tick the dedicated box, we also use your email address to send you news about Inktaro. This box is never pre-ticked. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in each email, and we then stop using your address for this purpose.
When you write to us by email or through the contact form, we use your contact details and your message to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep these exchanges for 3 years after our last contact.
With your consent only, we use Google Analytics to measure visits. Google Search Console gives us aggregated data about our presence in Google search and does not place cookies on your device.
Non-essential cookies are only placed after you accept them in the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time. Cookies are kept for up to 13 months, and your choice for about 6 months.
This website loads some fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address.
We never sell your data. It is only shared with the service providers we need to run Inktaro: Webflow (website and forms), Lovable (app hosting, database and sign-in emails, built on Supabase), Cloudflare (video storage in the European Union and domain services), OVHcloud (video processing server in France), Resend (app notification emails and newsletter), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in with Google, email, audience measurement, fonts) and Axeptio (consent management). When you publish, your content and settings are sent to the platforms you select (TikTok, Google/YouTube, Meta), which process them under their own policies.
Some of these providers are based in the United States or store data there. For example, Resend, which sends our app emails and newsletter, stores your email address and email delivery logs in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
You can access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, ask for a copy in a portable format, withdraw your consent at any time, and give instructions on what happens to your data after your death. Write to contact@inktaro.com. We reply within one month.
If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
Access to your data is limited to what is strictly necessary. Platform access tokens are encrypted on our servers, videos are stored in private storage, and our providers apply recognized security measures.
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
